It's been interesting. And pretty much every day they're chased by dogs.

They push pedals to raise money for finding a cure for hepatitis B and John Ellis and his best friend, Jamaal Warren, both 17, cycle nearly 60 to 70 miles per day. The three-week trip began in their hometown of Pensacola, Fla., and will end once they reach Philadelphia, more than 1,100 miles of cycling up the Atlantic coast.

They stopped in Charleston last week for one night, and continued their journey by traveling up U.S. Highway 17 over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.
