Colorful construction paper decorates the Pagenkopfs' pediatric dentistry, the result of a simple idea.

Cullan Pagenkopf initiated the challenge: Children could create cards to send to U.S. soldiers overseas, and for every card submitted, she and her husband, dentist Dr. Randy Pagenkopf, would donate $1. Today more than 100 cards sit on display in the office.

"It's kind of quietly taken on a life of its own," Cullan Pagenkopf said. "It's something that's so simple, but for children it's a way that they can be a part of it."
