It's the beginning of the summer, so it's clean now. But this is where I work:

Snazzy. My photos often fall because I don't put the pins through them -- rather sort of pressing them on the edges. Or people grab them to look then stick the pin through after.

I think a series of desk photos could be really interesting if done well. Up the alley of Friedlander or Martin Parr -- whom I'm learning about after some recent raving from friends.

I have two photos on my office wall: a Curtis Granderson oversized trading card courtesy of the Detroit Free Press, and the photo you sent me just recently— the one we decided would be the Bad Batteries publicity photo when our first album drops.

Both of those, and a Houston Astros wall calender, are the only non-work things on the wall amid about 15 sheets of phone numbers and composite high school athletic schedules.

Maybe I should add some snazz...

I'd never heard of Martin Parr before, but it's really interesting hearing him talk about his own work, like in this YouTube video. Actually, there are several cool videos about him, though I'm sure you've check them out.

I agree. A work-desk photo project would be interesting for an art project.

What kind of archaic computer is that? Are you running macs at your office?

Yeah, we have older computers, but you don't need brand-new ones to write. The designers have nicer Macs.
